What’s included with your new Noritz Tankless Water Heater Installation
- Amy will call you the night before and give you a 2 hour installation window. Our installers will call you ½ hour before when they are on the way.
- Complete pre-installation survey to determine if any additional work is required to meet local codes or address safety issues.
- Draining and removal of the old tank, we must have a working floor drain within 24 feet of the tank to do this.
- Coring foundation for side vent installation.
- Extending gas lines up to 25’ to outside wall.
- Install new copper pipe from original water heater location, up to 25’.
- Install stainless steel venting to outside and install outdoor vent cap.
- Install remote sensor to control water temperature.
- Secure tankless unit to outside wall.
- Add and install pressure relief valve and expansion tank according to local codes.
- Wire system to local codes.
- Leak check all water connections.
- Leak check all new gas connections.
- Sweep clean the work area and haul away all debris including the old tank.
A normal installation will require a full day to complete.
