The Concept 4 heat pump is the latest in environmentally friendly heat pumps from Armstrong. It uses R 410a refrigerant, and generally considered to be more ozone friendly than currently used refrigerants. In other words, if released into the atmosphere, 410a will not deplete the ozone layer. This refrigerant will be replacing currently used products over the next several years. The concept 4 comes standard with all the features of the concept 2 but with even more value added. The Copeland Scroll Compressor has a heavy-duty sound-reducing blanket to help reduce noise levels even further. The compressor is protected from refrigerant loss by a low pressure cut out. This shuts the system down if the refrigerant level drops. When you purchase this heat pump a new line set is included with the installation.
