The Concept 4 central air conditioner is a 13 SEER unit and is the latest in environmentally friendly central air conditioning from Armstrong. It uses R 410 – a refrigerant, and is considered to be more ozone friendly than currently used air conditining refrigerants. In other words, if released into the atmosphere it will not deplete the ozone layer. This refrigerant will be replacing currently used products over the next several years. The Copeland Scroll Compressor has a heavy-duty sound-reducing blanket that in conjunction with the upward fan blades and added shroud, helps to reduce noise levels even further. The compressor is protected from refrigerant loss by a low pressure cut out. This shuts the air cooling system down if the refrigerant level drops. When you purchase this system a new line set is included along with the new evaporator coil.
Warranty Coverage for the Concept 4 Central Air Conditioner
The concept 4 comes standard with a 5-year labor warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty as well as a 10-year warranty on all parts!
